Stuffed Pasta Shells

This dish is perfect for holiday entertaining and will impress your guests. Just double or triple the recipe depending on the number servings. It’s a hearty dish and sure to please both kids and adults alike.

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Boil pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook until beef is fully browned; remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the spinach and cook for 4 minutes until the leaves begin to wilt.

In a large mixing bowl, add the garlic, spinach, Parmesan, mozzarella, ricotta, egg, salt, and pepper and stir until combined.

Mix the ground beef with the marinara sauce and pour half of the sauce to the bottom of an 8” X 8” baking dish.

Stuff the pasta shells with the spinach cheese mixture and place in the baking dish.

Pour remaining sauce on top and bake covered with aluminum foil for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the sauce starts to bubble. Garnish with parsley and basil.

Turn the oven up to 425°F and prepare Furlani Garlic Bread according to package instructions. Slice and serve with the stuffed pasta shells.
