Ingredients

Serves 4

Directions

1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9”x 13” baking pan with parchment paper.

2

Place the toast in two rows of 8 slices in the baking dish so they fit snuggly beside each other.

3

Divide the marinara sauce between all the Texas Toast slices.

4

Kids version: Spoon a few tablespoons of sauce between each toast slice. Use a small spoon or butter knife to spread the sauce. Cover the surface of the bread as much as possible.

5

Slide two overlapping slices of the deli-cut mozzarella in between each toast. Trying to get the cheese as close to the bottom of the loaf as possible. The cheese will hang over the top.

6

Tuck 6 pepperoni slices in between the cheese and the next slice of toast.

7

Adults Version: Spoon and spread a few tablespoons of sauce between each toast slice, trying to cover the surface as much as possible.

8

Overlap and place two slices of fresh mozzarella between each toast slice. Push the cheese down in between the toast, so that is just peeking up.

9

Fold two pieces of prosciutto between the cheese and the next toast slice.

10

Distribute the olives over top and in the crevices.

11

Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake on the middle rack in the oven for 20 minutes.

12

Remove foil. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the top of the loaves are crispy and golden brown.

13

Let cool for 5- 10 minutes. Sprinkle the baby arugula over the Adult Hasselback Garlic Texas Toast Loaf before serving.

Tip: Add your and your kids’ favourite pizza toppings to create your own pizza loaves.
