These mini cheeseburger skewers by The Recipe Rebel are such a fun take on the original burger. Just toast some Garlic Texas Toast for added flavour topped with a mini patty, melted cheese, and all your favourite toppings!
Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes
Preheat grill to 400 degrees F or medium-high.
In a large bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, seasoning salt, onion powder and garlic powder
Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop or measuring spoon to scoop and shape roughly 24 patties.
Lightly grease a piece of aluminum foil and place it on the grill. Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 5 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. After flipping, brush with barbecue sauce.
Remove from the grill and top with cheese.
Cut each slice of Furlani Garlic Texas Toast into 6 cubes.
Place the toast cubes on the grill and grill on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Place one toast cube on platter and spread with 1 teaspoon Thousand Islands Dressing (if using). Top with a burger patty, cheese (if not already added), pickle, lettuce and tomato as desired.
Assemble remaining cheeseburger skewers and serve.
