1. Contest Period
The Furlani Top Chef Canada Dinner Experience Contest (the “Contest”) commences at 9:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 13, 2026 and ends at 4:59:59 PM ET on December 30, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be submitted by 4:59:59 PM ET on December 30, 2026 (the “Contest Closing Time”). Entries submitted after the Contest Closing Time will not be accepted.
2. Eligible Persons
The Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence, excluding: (a) employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents of: (i) Furlani Foods Corporation, (the “Sponsor”); (ii) the independent contest management organization appointed by theSponsor to administer the Contest, if any (the “Contest Administrator”); (iii) any affiliates or subsidiaries of theSponsor or the Contest Administrator; (iv) any of the Sponsor’s advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies involved in the development or execution of the Contest in any way; (v) the Contest Grand Prize (as defined below) suppliers; and (vi) any persons or entities involved in judging the Contest; and (b) all persons with whom those specified in (a) reside or immediately related. The persons and entities specified in (a) and (b) are referred to collectively herein as the “Contest Entities”. For the purposes of these Rules, two people are “immediately related” if one is the husband, wife, spouse, common-law partner, legally recognized spouse or partner, son, stepson, son-in-law, daughter, stepdaughter, daughter-in-law, sister, stepsister, sister-in-law, brother, stepbrother, brother-in-law, mother, stepmother, mother-in-law, father, stepfather or father-in-law of the other. For clarity, groups, clubs, organizations, businesses, and commercial and non-commercial entities cannot enter the Contest.
An entrant must meet the eligibility requirements set out in these Rules from the time of entry until the time they are confirmed a winner (if they become a winner).
3. How To Enter
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Purchase is not required to enter the Contest and will not improve your chances of winning.
There are two (2) ways to participate in the Contest: by submitting a Purchase Entry (as defined below) or bysubmitting a No Purchase Entry (as defined below). To enter via either method of entry, take the following steps during the Contest Period to receive one (1) entry into this Contest, subject to these Rules, and a chance to win the Contest prize (the “Grand Prize” or “Prize”, as further defined below):
Important Note: You must keep your original Receipt(s). The Sponsor or the Contest Administrator may request to see it to verify that you are eligible to participate in the Contest. If you are unable to produce your original Receipt on request by the Sponsor or Contest Administrator, you may be disqualified, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor or Contest Administrator, and if disqualified, will forfeit any right to claim the Prize.
Each validly submitted Receipt qualifies as one (1) Grand Prize Entry, regardless of the number of Qualifying Products purchased on any one (1) Receipt and regardless of the email address, telephone number, or otherinformation provided in the entry form. Once a Receipt has been submitted, any additional entries using the submittedReceipt in excess of this limit will be disqualified and will not constitute eligible entries in the Contest. Further, if anyentrant attempts to obtain more than the specified number of entries, the Sponsor may, in its sole and absolutediscretion, disqualify the entrant from the Contest and disqualify all of that entrant’s entries.
Limit. Limit of one (1) Grand Prize Entry per day, irrespective of the method of entry. For No Purchase Entries,entrants must submit a unique 150-word essay for each No Purchase Entry. If any entrant attempts to obtain morethan the specified number of entries, the Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, disqualify the entrant from the Contest and disqualify all of that entrant’s entries.
By participating through either method of entry, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and Contest Administrator, which are final and binding in all respects.
Any available opt-in opportunities are not required to enter this Contest and checking any opt-in boxes will not improve your chances of winning.
All entries are subject to verification at any time. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, torequire proof of identity and/or eligibility from any entrant, including without limitation the original Receipt submitted with a purchase entry, which proof shall be in the form required by the Sponsor. Failure to provide proof of identity and/or eligibility to the satisfaction of the Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification.
4. Grand Prize and Odds of Winning
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded during the Contest Period. The Grand Prize consists of a three (3) day/ two (2) night trip for two (2) people – the winner and one (1) guest – to Toronto, Ontario. The Grand Prize includes round trip coach-class airfare for two (2) people between the major international airport closest to winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) and Toronto, Ontario; two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations at a hotel selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy); a Top Chef dinner experience with a Top Chef Personality for two (2) people; a Corus studio tour for two (2) people; an assortment of Top Chef and Furlani merchandise, and CA$1,800 spending money. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is CA$5,800. The approximate odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible Grand Prize entries received during the Contest Period.
The actual Grand Prize value and ARV may vary depending on the city of departure and fluctuations in airfare charges, hotel rooms, and other trip-related elements. Any difference between the actual value of the Grand Prize and the stated ARV (if less than the actual value) will not be awarded. All Grand Prize-related travel must be taken on the designated dates, according to Sponsor’s directions or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting.
If the Grand Prize winner resides within 300 kilometres of Toronto, Ontario, Sponsor may provide round-trip ground transportation for winner and guest from winner’s residence to the hotel in lieu of airfare and no further compensation will be awarded.
The winner’s guest must be at least nineteen (19) years old or the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence, or the minor child/legal ward of the winner. The guest, or his/her parent/legal guardian in the event the guest is a minor, must also sign a Declaration and Release (as defined below) within the time period stated during the winner notification process.
All Grand Prize-related travel arrangements will be administered by Sponsor’s authorized designee. All travel must be booked prior to departure. Grand Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, weather, seasonal influences and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change. Winner and guest will be required to travel on identical itineraries, including the same departure date and return date. Air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. Guest must stay in the same hotel room as winner. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Grand Prize are not eligible for upgrades, frequent flyer miles or any other promotional benefit. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets (including any event tickets or admission passes), travel vouchers or certificates or similar items once they are in the winner’s possession or in the possession of a guest. Sponsor will determine flight itinerary in its sole discretion. Once hotel and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and those set forth by Sponsor’s air travel prize supplier, as detailed in the passenger ticket contract issued by such supplier. If the winner elects to travel or partake in the Grand Prize with no guest, no additional compensation will be awarded to the winner.
The winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining any desired or necessary travel documents (including government-issued photo identification). If, for any reason, travel is delayed, impeded or refused by immigration/border control authorities, the Prize may be forfeited (in whole or in part) and winner and/or guest will be solely responsible for any additional expenses incurred. Each winner and guest hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for any part of the Prize. It is the responsibility of each winner and guest to arrive at the designated gateway airport in time for each flight that is part of a Prize. Each winner and guest are responsible for all in-room charges (e.g., mini-bar, movies), telephone calls, meals, beverages, gratuities, upgrades, personal incidentals, amenities and any other fees and expenses not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules. Winner will be required to provide a major credit card upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges will be charged to the credit card. Any damage to the room attributed to a winner and/or guest will be the responsibility of the winner.
Sponsor bears no responsibility if any event, element or detail of the Prize is canceled, postponed or becomes unavailable for any reason. Should any event, element or detail of the Prize become unavailable, the Sponsor shall have no obligation to the winner aside from providing the travel portion of the Prize, minus any unavailable event, element or detail. Should the Top Chef personality be unable to attend the Top Chef dinner experience, no substitution of that portion of the Grand Prize will necessarily be made. The winner and his/her guest shall be subject to all terms and conditions printed on any ticket issued in conjunction with the Prize. In the event the winner and/or guest is denied entry into any ticketed event or is removed or barred from any ticketed event location for any other reason, the Sponsor is not responsible and no further compensation or award will be provided.
All amounts and costs related to the Grand Prize, including but not limited to all income, sales, use and other taxes(and the reporting thereof) imposed as a result of the award of the Grand Prize, which are not expressly stated as covered by the Sponsor in these Rules are the responsibility of the individual winner. It is the individual winner’s responsibility to understand and abide by any federal, provincial, territorial, local, or foreign tax laws that may apply to receipt of the Grand Prize.
A person eligible to win the Prize must accept the Prize as awarded and may not transfer such Prize or substitute orexchange for, or apply the Prize’s value towards, cash or a higher cost or alternative prize. The Prize is non-refundable, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and is provided on an “as is” basis, without any representation orwarranty of any kind. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent or greater kind or value in the event of the unavailability of all or part of the Prize or for any other reason whatsoever.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable (no substitutions except at Sponsor’s option).
5. Grand Prize:
A random draw to award the Grand Prize (“Grand Prize Draw”) subject to these Rules (including the verification and skill-testing question requirements), will be held at approximately 1 PM ET in Toronto, Canada on January 20th, 2027. The Grand Prize Draw will be conducted by the Contest Administrator.
The potential winner of the Grand Prize will be notified initially by email beginning within five (5) days of the date onwhich their entry was selected as a potential winner. If the Contest Administrator is unsuccessful in its attempts toreach and communicate directly with the potential winner by email after three (3) attempts over a three (3)-day period to the email address listed in that potential winner’s entry form, then, at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion,that potential winner may be disqualified without liability to the Sponsor. In the event of such a disqualification, an alternate potential winner will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries, either through a process similarto the one that selected the original potential winner or through a random draw, the exact process to be determinedby the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, subject to these Rules. Through the winner notification process, the potential winner must confirm their eligibility and indicate their willingness to accept the Prize. The potential winner will then receive official notification via email or certified or overnight mail delivery. No communications will be entered into other than with the potential winner.
The Sponsor and/or its representatives may respond to entrants or otherwise engage with Contest participants during the Contest Period, but such interactions will have no impact on the process through which the Prize is awarded in accordance with these Rules.
6. Declaration and Release and Skill-Testing Question
Before being confirmed as the winner of the Prize, the potential Prize winner must complete and return, within five (5) days of date of receipt, a Declaration and Release Form (the “Declaration and Release”), which (among other things):
If a potential winner fails to return the properly executed Declaration and Release within the specified time period, theSponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, disqualify the potential winner, thereby forfeiting any and all rightsthe potential winner may have to the Grand Prize. In the event of such a disqualification, an alternate potential winnermay be selected from among the remaining eligible entries, either through a process similar to the one that selectedthe original potential winner or through a random draw, the exact process to be determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, subject to these Rules.
If a selected potential winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, does not complete and return the Declaration and Release, is unable or unwilling to accept thePrize as offered or elects to decline the Prize, he/she may be disqualified at the sole and absolute discretion of theSponsor and an alternate potential winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries, either througha process similar to the one that selected the original potential winner or through a random draw, the exact process tobe determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, subject to these Rules. Any disqualified winner willnot receive any alternate prize, substitution, or compensation.
Upon satisfaction of all requirements of these Rules, including, without limitation, receipt of the completed Declaration and Release, the confirmed winner will be contacted by the Sponsor or the Contest Administrator to make arrangements for the winner regarding their Prize.
7. Privacy
The Sponsor respects your right to privacy and works at all times to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws. Except as expressly set out in these Rules, in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at https://furlanifoods.com/privacy-policy-and-legal-statement/), or as otherwise agreed to by you, any personalinformation provided in connection with this Contest will only be collected, used and disclosed by the Sponsor and its service providers for the purposes of administering and conducting this Contest, including, without limitation,verification of eligibility and identity and awarding and delivering the Prize. The Sponsor will not sell, share or otherwise disclose personal information provided in connection with this Contest to or with third parties or agents, other than to third parties or agents engaged by the Sponsor to fulfill the above purposes or as permitted or required by the applicable laws.
8. Additional Rules and Restrictions
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Rules and the decisions of theSponsor and the Contest Administrator, which shall be final and binding on all entrants in all matters relating to this Contest. In the event an entrant wins a Prize and is later found to be in violation of these Rules, they must forfeit thePrize or reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the Prize if such violation is discovered after winner has used the Prize. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible for the Prize.
Proof of sending entry or Receipt (regardless of method) is not proof of receipt by the Sponsor or Contest Administrator. Incomplete, altered, mutilated, or garbled entries will be disqualified. The Releasees are notresponsible for lost, late, misdirected, garbled, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or damaged entries, or forentries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Rules, or for any entry not submitted or received due to any technical error or failure, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or mis-entry of anyrequired information, the effects of hackers, the failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/or network connections or any other reason beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control; all of which will be disqualified. TheReleasees are not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardwareor software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including, without limitation: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost orunavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant’s ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest. Entrants are restricted to use of ordinary and typical computer equipment and internet access use in respect of the Contest.
The Releasees are not responsible for the cancellation or postponement of any component of this Contest or anyassociated programs and materials. The Releasees are not responsible for any other errors of any kind, whether computer, technical, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Contest. The Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the printing or advertising of this Contest,these Rules, administration or execution of the Contest, the conducting of the Prize drawing or winner selection, the cancellation of any element of the Prize, the processing of entries or in the selection or announcement of the Prize or Prize winner.
Each entrant must submit an entry and participate in the Contest on his/her own behalf. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual, on behalf of a group or organization, or using another person’s email address, name or other personal information will be disqualified and ineligible to claim the Prize.
Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the specified number of entries by using (or attempting to use) multiple names, identities, email addresses, registrations, or logins, or by any other means whatsoever, will entitle theSponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, to void that entrant’s entries and disqualify that entrant from the Contest.Entries by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. Any entry form that is determined by the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, to have failed to have been fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period will be rejected. Use (or attempted use) of any automated, macro, script, robotic or other systems or programsto enter or otherwise participate in, subvert, or disrupt the Contest, and any other attempt to manipulate, tamper withor defraud any element of this Contest, is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion.
In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the email address included in the entry form for that entry will be deemed to be the entrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Rules. The“authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, onlineservice provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. All entries received become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
The sole determinant of the time of receipt of an entry for the purposes of determining the eligibility of that entry shall be the Sponsor or Contest Administrator’s computer or server.
By participating in the Contest, except to the extent prohibited by applicable legislation, each entrant:
In the event of an early termination of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to determine the Prize winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the time/date of such termination.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to adjust any of the datesand/or timeframes stipulated in these Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by anyentrant or entry with these Rules, or as a result of technical problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Rules.
The Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, and without notice, terminate the right of any entrant or user of the Website to participate in the Contest or use the Website.
Except where prohibited by law, by completing the act of entering the Contest, each entrant agrees that the Contest, and all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, shall be governed by the laws in force in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein (excluding any conflict of laws, rule or principle that might refer such interpretation to the laws of another jurisdiction).Each entrant irrevocably submits to the non- exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario with respect to any matter related to this Contest.
If any provision of these Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained herein.
Except where prohibited by law, by participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that (a) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated withentering this Contest, and in no event will entrant be entitled to receive lawyers’ fees or other legal costs; and (b) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocketexpenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
